My name is Nomuunbileg, but you can call me Nobita; it's the name of an anime character and my friends started to call me by this name when I was in elementary school. I'm from Mongolia where I was born and raised. I'm in my sophomore year majoring in Environmental Studies at PLU. Also, I'm the new student intern at the PLU International Student Center, and I'm so happy to be working with other international students.
One of the most heartwarming parts of my college experience has been the support from my teachers and advisors. They are genuinely kind and understanding, which makes it easy for me to reach out for help when I need it. One of the privileges of being at a private university is that the professors truly care about my success. I've had many joyful moments, and I cherish the community that surrounds me. Studying in the USA has opened my eyes to exciting opportunities and new friendships that I never imagined possible. The most memorable moments when I got here were traveling around LA, Las Vegas, Chicago, and NY which was my dream when I was a kid and I am so thankful to everything that I've got to experience.
I'm also a PLU dance team member, and I was the first international student to join the dance team. I feel the happiest when I'm dancing with my team which is also my little escape from school.
I am happy to help if you need any help, so please reach out. I hope to see you soon!
